What is your favorite thing about working with small businesses and startups?
I enjoy working with small businesses and startups because there is a personal connection between the owner and the actual business which creates a personal connection for me to see them succeed and help make that happen for them.
What are the highlights of your career so far (length in field, education, places worked, clients served, etc)?
I have 28 years of experience in the accounting field with a masters in organizational management. Accounting is something that I have enjoyed doing as a career. The most rewarding projects that I have had the pleasure of doing are forensic accounting cleanups for small businesses.
Where did you grow up? How did you end up living where you live now?
A lifelong Tennessee resident, I grew up in the Memphis TN area and have lived in every major city in the state of TN. After 26 years of living in East TN, I now reside in Middle TN.

Disciplined, Focused, and Zest for Accounting
What do you like to do for fun outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my rescued schnauzers, going to concerts, kayaking, and doing volunteer work for animal rescue organizations.
